Hydrophilic non-woven fabric
Hydrophilic non-woven fabric is an environmentally friendly textile fabric, which has strong liquid adsorption and is harmless to the human body.
Actually, most non-woven fabrics are hydrophobic non-woven fabrics. Hydrophilic non-woven fabric is the opposite of hydrophobic non-woven fabric. Hydrophilic non-woven fabric is produced by adding a hydrophilic agent to the production process of non-woven fabric, or by adding a hydrophilic agent to the fiber during the fiber production process.
The purpose of adding hydrophilic agents is that fibers or non-woven fabrics are high molecular polymers with few or no hydrophilic groups, which cannot achieve the required hydrophilic properties in non-woven fabric applications. Therefore, hydrophilic agents are added.
The characteristic of hydrophilic non-woven fabrics is that they have a certain ability to absorb moisture. In applications such as medical and hygiene care products, the hydrophilic effect of hydrophilic non-woven fabrics can quickly transmit liquids to the absorption core. The absorption performance of hydrophilic non-woven fabrics is not good, with a general moisture regain of around 0.4%.
